Scope of Works:
Complete strip-out and refit of staff accommodation, including:

• Lower Library fitout as open-plan office space, including installation of a platform lift

• Upper Library fitout as meeting rooms, offices, and recording studios

• End-of-trip (changeroom) facilities for staff

• Fitout of Art Gallery shop storage

• Female and male amenities

• Installation of offices and a light workshop

• Fitout of meal rooms and additional office space

• 92m of joinery LED strip lighting

• 181m of Vibia Belt lighting

All works were completed in a live environment, with the Art Gallery of NSW remaining accessible and operational throughout the construction period. Disruption to staff and visitors was kept to a minimum, and all works were carried out with sensitivity to the building’s heritage significance.
