Elecdata recently completed the new Sydenham Station Metro project as part of the Sydney City & Southwest Metro Line for the John Holland Laing O’Rourke Joint Venture. The main features of the upgraded Sydenham Station include:

• 2 x New pedestrian plazas

• Platforms 1 and 2 converted to Sydney Metro standards including platform screen doors and new canopies

• A new aerial concourse

• New station buildings including

• 2 x New Metro Services Buildings

• Installation of over 800 new lights

• DALI Lighting Control

• 4 x Main Switchboards

• 14 x Distribution Boards

• 2 x Complete UPS Systems

• Power Factor Correction

• 90kW Photo Voltaic System

• Communications

• Audio Frequency Induction Loops

• Station Passenger Information
