Yagoona Station was one of the stations upgraded through the Transport Access Program to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure, and integrated transport infrastructure.

All facets of the station were upgraded including the installation of new lift for station entry. Replacement of the single point of entry of a compressed timeframe presented several challenges in planning, staging and execution. Elecdata leant on its many years of experience and worked in collaboration with an excellent build team to deliver project successfully.

Scope of works include:

• Upgraded power supply to station and signal hut including replacement of Padmount transformer

• New station building, wired off site and craned on to platform

• Complete replacement of concourse providing single point of station entry

• Methodical and staged relocation of all station comms equipment

• Relocation of Signal Hut Power supply

• New services to entire station platform

• New DDA Compliant path light installed to both sides of station
